Brakes
We need a thread that contains all of the minimum dust pads and have it as a sticky. Mine are great, Akebono.
There are many out there and many are made by the same companies but with different names on the boxes. Some are fine for general use and others are best used on the track.

I LOVED Hawk HPS pads -had them on the Graphite. Way better stopping than OEM and about 10% or less of the dust of OEM. Available in fronts only, but the back doesn't "dust up" so bad anyway.
Time for pads for the SE. But this time, I want all four wheels done, so I'm thinking it over............

I have used pads of many makes over the years, most of them good, but the Hyperceramix by DiscItalia purchased at BrakeWorld are the very best that I have ever used. Pricey, maybe, but worth every Centavo. And they have them for front and back brakes.
+ 1 for the ebc red stuff pads, nice around town and awesome when things get serious.
low on dust too!
downside is they squeal and squeek at low speed for the first 500kms but worth it.

Some of these pads are the same pad material and made by the same maker and put in different boxes with different makers names on them. This was pointed out some years back when a member here noticed identical pads by two different makers, and the both said made in Canada.
The Canadian manufacturer was found by a member here who was then shown around the plant, famous names on the boxes and all from the same assembly line. Some were sold at greater and lesser markups. So you do not necessarily get what you pay for.

luckyme , EBC redstuff pads are Made in England
I must check in shop in my city but they also probably not know.
Last time I bought rear pads and they not fit. I must grind it.
When I looking for disc I see 2 dimensions for front (288mm and 300mm). What we have? I have cabrio 2004.
