Are there any instructions anywhere on how to remove and refit the top on the roadster ?
Yes, there is a very accurate step by step in the online SRT6 service manual.

I've just received confirmation from Rebecca that my new hood will be leaving the plant on Monday. It's going to be like Christmas morning.

Has anyone had their new top from BAS installed yet? If so, how does it look?

If they ship it Mon, you should have it by Wed/Thurs. Hopefully the U.S. doesn't break off trade relations with Wales before your top is shipped.

I just referred BAS to a friend of mine who is looking for a new top for his 911 Cab.

Since the president is meeting with the UK Prime Minister today, there is always a chance that new tariffs are enacted before my top arrives. I sure hope not. I escaped EU VAT, so hopefully I can avoid US border tariffs as well.

From what I've seen, BAS could do a big business offering quality tops for all convertibles...not that it will do me any good....I traded in Ingrid's second Sebring Convertible on a 2013 200 Hardtop Convertible. Nice car...very richly loaded. Chrysler did a good job on that car...and then dropped it, effectively abandoning the lock they had on that market.

I received my new top last week. A big thanks to all of you who made it possible for us to get them at a great price. I won't be installing mine until summer, but I hope to find all of the information that I need in order to pull it off for when that time comes.

You can find a step by step in the SRT6 repair manual available here :

My new hood from BAS arrived today. DHL dropped it off without a word. My son found it sitting by the doorstep. No concerns about that, I'm happy that it arrived. However, what I'm not necessarily pleased about is finding an additional 3% charge on my credit card for "Foreign Transaction Fee". I never gave it a thought....sadly, I have other cards that do NOT charge a FTF on my purchases. It's just been so long since I've purchased direct that it never even crossed my mind.

All in all, with the fantastic savings offered under the "Crossfire Forum Group Buy", I still can't be very upset. Total cost thus far $617.06.

Now comes the major decision concerning installation. I can drive to Alabama, and help ala_xfire do the install...thus learning something more about my car and her hood. Or, I can search out somebody in the Dayton, OH area that will do the job well, and not charge me an arm and a leg. It's times like these that I wish our country wasn't so darned big.

Decisions decisions. Stay tuned.

BTW, if you DO decide to drive down, maxcichon from Auburn said he'd drive up and help.
( His eyes are much sharper than mine ..... )
Your choice, 559 miles down 75/59/US431 each way, or maybe you can get lucky and find a competent top shop locally.

Thanks to the forum I received new top this morning.
We have an 05 and an 08 limited. The window became loose on the 05 and was replaced under warranty with no charge. The window on the 08 fell out with 8,000 miles and Chrysler refused to pay anything. Hard to understand!!!
I am a 74 year young minister now with a new top and with no idea how to install. I live in N. Georgia. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to have this done?

Ah! So you are seeking some guidance here.
We have a pair from Alabama who are knowledgable on this, maybe you will find someone more local though. I hear they are a pair of roof raisers.

George,

Making the trip south on Friday, 31 March, with a plan to swap the old for the new on Saturday, 1 April. I hope that there's nothing Foolish waiting to get me.

I'm really looking forward to the drive back, with my hot looking new blue hood from BAS International.
