Default Convertible Top Replacement video

This is a great video on how to replace your convertible top. Maybe it should be a sticky.

You can order a top from BAS International. They make them in several colors.

Received a grey top from BAS yesterday (ordered 15 Nov; arrived DHL 22 Nov) at 638 British Pounds ($824.34 using a VISA card). Installed it today with no problems, using the relevant pages from the Service Manual and incorporating some hints from this threard and after watching the video.

I watched this video and replaced my top, but I'm having a hard time getting the weather seal back into the channels, is there some trick to it?

If you mean the seals at the top of the door's windows, there is. I struggled with mine several times over the course of a year. They would pop out at times when folding the top down. Finally, one day, really LOOKED at how it fit into the channel and worked it in.

I'ts been fine for two years now.

I was able to get the small strips above the window without any issues. For some reason I just can't get the sides of the main seal to stay in the grooves behind the windows. I've tried all kinds of things and so far nothing is working. I get it and it may stay for awhile and then it decides to just come undone.
