Default Too bad

Too bad this never made it out of the development stage. I think it would have sold well. Reminds me of my old SLK 450.

Reminds me of my TC . The hard top was a pita , but nice once you had it on . The wheeled storage rack was mandatory .

Was this a photo shop number on a roadster, there was one that showed up here some years back?

There was actually a company in about 2006 building this prototype however in never came to fruition. I don't know if it was final cost, low demand or issues with secure attachment or ???

I had the same thing on my '57 T-Bird. The soft top would last forever.

I would have bought one

I wonder if something like a targa top could be made for the roadster folks. I think the Pontiac Solstice Coupe version has something similar to that. It’s crazy how much the Solstice coupes go for. I think they only made something like 1000 of them, give or take.

I also had a 59 and 61 MGA, they were fun cars to drive.

I had a Canadian version of the 1960 MGA (1600 cc engine and tail lights). Miss it to this day! Would have loved the targa top for it.
