This is the 2008 service manual excerpt specifically on the convertible top; it seems to have more than the 2005 manual does.

I just had a diagnostic scan using a DRB 3 scanner. Problem appears to be the tonneau side flap cable which was previously broken.
Mopar part # 5140962AA.

Has ANYONE had success in trying to replace the cable as this part is unavailable anywhere?

I never have but others have said a bike shop can make them.
