Default Central locking pump

Hi,
I recently purchased a 2008 crossfire roadster. When I lock or unlock the doors with the remote, the central locking pump runs for about 10 seconds. The doors do lock and unlock. Is this normal, or is something wrong with the system? Also when I walk away from the car with the remote in my pocket the doors automatically lock without me pushing the lock button on the remote. Thanks in advance for any help.

The doors locking automaticly is normal if you do not get in the car. That is in case you unlock your doors accidentally.

Hi carsmything. Please post only one topic per issue in the Crossfire forum. There are members who posted in your other post in the technical forum, just as I answered you there. Duplicate posts confuse the membership and makes it harder for you and the members to get a clear path to a solution. Good luck!
