Convertible Trunk Divider
Re: Convertible Trunk Divider
They’re out there
5 second search on eBay yielded this.

This one appears to be a little tough but good quality examples exist

Re: Convertible Trunk Divider
Maybe your car isn’t a crossfire because it looks just like the divider I have in my roadster and the spare I have on the shelf.
I’ve circled the left/right sides that roll into the side brackets. Any chance that the existing divider is still there and was just folded forward?

Re: Convertible Trunk Divider
I hardly ever remove my partition, but since the two "pegs" fit into switches to let the car know it is safe to lower the roof, there must be some way to defeat or fool the switches into thinking the pegs are present. I'll leave that to the smarter electrical gurus on the forum.
Re: Convertible Trunk Divider
I suspect you are correct and that the shop removed it when installing your shocks. The likelihood of someone stealing the divider is astronomical. Needless-to-say, the top should operate if the micro-switch in the left side bracket holder is taped or in some other way held in the closed position. Peak your head in the trunk and look on the left, locate the divider holder and you will see the small micro-switch.
