Default New to Crossfire

Hello!

I am car fanatic and I just purchased an '05 Roadster 6spd. I think I got a pretty good deal... Fully loaded for 32k. The dealers are definitely desperate to move these cars. I can't understand why they are a slow seller. I absolutely love this car! But I guess its (unfortunately) a truck and SUV country.

Well, since the Crossfire community seems fairly small, it will be nice to have this forum to go to.

All I can say is that this car should do nicely until I can pick up my Ferrari Daytona Spyder... Har har ...

Nice to meet you all!

Great price. Enjoy the car. Every time I take mine out I love it more. I too don't have any idea why this car isn't a smash hit. For what you pay there isn't a thing around with the quality and style of this car. I really think its got collector car possibilities because of its cross breeding and limited sales appeal. Time will tell, enjoy.

I just bought mine tonight. Got it for $27,805 plus tax. 05' black roadster 6 speed. Employee price was $31,805 minus a 4 grand rebate. (2 grand rebate with 2 grand dealer cash).

I'm very happy.

That price is unbelieveable. What color interior did you get? I also have Black with the Dark gray and Cedar but mine has the auto and nav system. Did yours have the nav system? Enjoy it.

My car is the '05 base roadster (not limited model). Got grayish/black cloth interior with plain 4 speaker/CD stereo. No nav system. Plan on upgrading the stereo sometime in the future though.

The general manager of the local Chrysler store was a personal friend and clued me in about the extra 2 grand dealer money on '05s. Basically he said, if the dealer has pre ordered their '06 crossfires, chrysler sends them 'dealer coupons' to help them move their '05 models; that's the way I understood it anyway.

Oh there is nothing but joy on my face. I drove a 350z and liked it, but this car was more style and comfort...plus I got a convertible for the same price as a base Z.

Man, sorry it took so long to reply. I was on business travel and my "spartan" accommodations didn't have internet access.

I do have the Navigation system on it. I got black and grey interior. I live in southern Maryland.

I'm very very happy with the car! I need to get my radar detector installed so I can REALLY test it out... HEHEH...
