Default Convertible Top Glass Falling Out

Hi,
I have a 2008 Roadster and the back window came loose. It appears to have been glued in. Is that true?
I am in Ontario Canada and not sure who I should contact about getting it replaced or glued back in. It is not broken otherwise.

Windows were glued in, absolutely. Mine is an 07, I bought a new top from BAS in the UK back in 2019 and had it installed in 2020. The cost was reasonable ($740us including shipping to Texas).

You can reglue it, I did (three times) - but the top and car are sixteen years old; it's a FABRIC top, it's time for a new top. No one who replaces the top is sorry they did it.

Mine was replaced in a parking lot one morning before breakfast by attendees at our Eureka Springs meet.

I wouldn't bother re-gluing it. It will only fail again eventually.
Search a thread on here about BAS tops. It has contact information and I think if you mention this forum you might get a discount.

Just replace it....I did a year ago with a new BAS top

Send an email to:
Becca@bas-international.com

BAS tops have glass glued in with the defroster inside the glass exactly like the OEM top
Very good quality and I doubt you will find anything even close in price anywhere else
I have a BAS top and many others here I know do as well
I highly recommend them and they have been a major provider for the Crossfire owners here for 8 years or more

They have done away with the "Discount", that only applied in 2019 or so when we FIRST got started with them. They offered the tops at a discount if we ordered ten at a time, so Crystal started putting together group buys on our Facebook pages.

Once it got to where they were selling more Crossfire tops and almost any other, the price was simply set lower and that's where we've been ever since. Due to inflation, tops are more expensive than they were in 2019, but still way less than the USA alternative.
