Default Convertible tonneau cable?

Does anyone know where I can find a 05-08 CROSSFIRE CONVERTIBLE TONNEAU CABLE? I will buy the flaps if I need to but I really only need the cable.

Jim Bruer makes them. He's on the face book Crossfire forum page. I'll try to get his contact info.

What's the issue with your cable. I fixed mine by drilling out the clip, cut the end of the cable with bicycle cable cutters, and epoxied the cable back in. I had to readjust the length at the tonneau flap

I rebuild them with your cable sheathing. However, in a few weeks, I will be making the entire flap cables from scratch. You will remove your flap cables and install the ones I’ll make. Not parts needed, no extra tools needed either.

I also make the bow tension cables.

So I am a novice here with this. Do I need to take this to the Chrysler dealership to have them remove the cables or can I do it?

The dealership will not work on your crossfire. These cables are not difficult to remove and replace.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, Iffin you ever go to a Chrysler 'Stealership', you'll regret it and have a MUCH LIGHTER checking account, wallet, or a HUGE CC bill. Also, be careful, you'll have the wrath of pizzaguy here in the forum with even the mention of going to a Chrysler stealership (there are actually a few across the USA that in the past can still service the Crossfire BUT the bill will most likely be shocking at the least. Most here will advise you get to know an independent Mercedes Benz mechanic, also MB will snub you at their dealership service departments (the divorce was horrible way back). There are a few members here that can assist you if you can't understand/want to self-help with the tutorials/help forum posts here, Good luck!

The service manuals are here. I believe the top is in section 23.

I would contact him by forum contact messaging (left click member name at top of their post and select item from list). This may insure he reads your message/requirement soonest). Good luck getting your part!
