I apologize in advance, I’m not sure what thread to post this in so I’m starting here! Be Nice! I’m currently about to take on a project this weekend and I need some pointers and maybe some things to avoid so I don’t mess up anything! The sooner the better! About to start now 3/20/26 6:00 pm! I’m taking a new top from a wrecked crossfire and replacing a cut up top on another crossfire. The cut up top also has a motor that doesn’t work and the new top I believe has a working motor last we checked. I’ll take any and all advice or help I can get! Thanks in advance! The top donor car is an 05 and the other receiving is an 04, not sure if that matters.

This is the car receiving the top. Don’t talk about the window 🤣 we replaced it and didn’t notice it was for a coupe. It’s about to get replaced also!

I didn't think any roadsters were built in 2004.

 

before exercsing the top consider something like this: Protex World Canvas Restorer. Expect the rear window to come loose.
Take the silver trim piece at the top of the windshield. They are hard to come by and expensive when you can find them.
