Another badge idea for you guys!
I thought the "Supercharged" badge from the Cobalt SS would look good in that little area in front of the rear wheels and above the rocker panel (or above the are where my stripe start). Another one is the one from the new supercharged Range Rover, very nice lookin', but I'm not sure about its proper placement on the SRT-6 though.
I'm good, but to make you feel better, I'll go out and layer on another coat of SG.
I'm kinda of a "badge guru", check it out:
- on my old 2000 Contour SVT I replaced the OEM badge out back with the smaller, flatter one found on the mid 90's Cobra/Lightning's and it looked great. I even added the badge into the front oval so it matched front and back!
- my buddy was installing a Taurus 3.0L into his Contour SE and I surprised him with a 3.0L badge from the 98' Ford Windstar and it looked factory, I call it "factory aftermarket".
- then on the Crossfire I thought I'd get the "powered by Mercedes-Benz" badge and place in the area I'm talking about for the original post here but it was way to big! No problem, I just found a good spot under the hood and now there's several guys here who've got em' on their rides.
This bring me to the idea for the badge in that little area, its a perfect spot for something that says "supercharged". Which brings me to yet another idea, the SUPERCHARGED badge from the Nissan pickups from the early 2000's, its a black badge with it topped off in red. Yet another cool idea.
