Not sure if I really like the outside color scheme, although it IS eye catching.

I do however like what underhood details I could see on the cover and the interior touches.

I especially like the carbon fiber overlay's on the silver center console areas... nice touch!

Congrats on your placement!

Ichon's car was the most looked at, and most photographed car out of all the Crossfires that showed up at the show, bar none. Whether it's your cup of tea or not is not the point. (but everyone has a right to express their opinion of course). It simply garnered the most attention.
I'm going to be painfully honest here, and if any other forum members that attended the show want to disagree with me, please, be my guest. But for the most part, (and not surprisingly so) our cars were largely overlooked by the multitudes of your average Mopar enthusiasts that were there that day. And not because of our location either, it couldn't have been any better. Redcross did a fantastic job!!
I believe alot of the people who walked right by our colorful display of new or nearly new Crossfires actually thought it was a dealers display. One guy actually broke away from his friends as they walked by, and came over and got right in one persons car, closed the door, and was checking it out like he was in a show room. By the time I realized he wasn't with our select group of XF owners, he had got out of the car and caught up with his friends again.
It's a shame, but much like our cars have been "left out to fend for themselves" or ignored by the dealers, most Mopar fan's really don't know what to make of this German import.
That's the reason we need to attend as many organized Mopar events as possible, and in as large of numbers as possible, to show the Mopar faithful we are out there, and we are proud of our remarkable cars. A little education can go along way.
The best thing about the show for me, (and the main reason I came) was to finally put a face to a name of my fellow forum members. I didn't get to meet and talk to as many of you as I would have liked to (my fault) but I hope to remedy that at the next get together I attend.
This forum is collection of a great bunch of people, with alot of different opinions, solutions, ideas, and agenda's, and that's just a few of the reasons I think most of us log on nearly every day.
As for Ichon's car being so radical, all I can say is, I saw the official Carlisle Photographer stop his golf cart, and take a 30 sec. video of his Crossfire, and nobody else's. So don't be surprised if his XF is the "only" one that makes it on next years program of the show. ...Congrats Chaz!

ichon,

Nice job. Not my taste, maybe I'm a little too old for it. Have you considered adding the eyebrows to your lights? I think it would give the car a more sinister look. What are your thoughts?
