Default New to forum, have some questions

I have an SRT-6 Roadster. I've already contacted Renntech and waiting on them to get the pulley's back in stock. I'm an avid drag racer, so I'll be some pre and post times to see the difference.

My question is what other performance options are out there? I've seen some people upgrade plug wires and few other various things. Is there an exhaust system out there for us? Has anybody removed the cats and had the computer throw a code?

I love this little thing, a lot different than my other cars.

Welcome aboard.
Are you over at Moparts too? You've got a pretty nice toy box.
I'm sure you'll enjoy the SRT. They're lotsa fun.
Some of the guys are learning what mods are available but I haven't looked into much since I've only had mine for a few weeks.

myCuda65,

You certainly have alot of cars and I'm sure the new addition will make the others take a back seat.

I don't post on Moparts that often. When I do, it is as McCandlessBoy. My dad is Herb McCandless, from the Sox&Martin days. Needless to say I bleed mopar. Not hard to tell from my signature. I stick to the vtcoa.com forum mostly. I'm in the process of building a 1,000 hp+ viper pickup. It's been a 9 month project. Hope to hit the dyno next week. I'm not using turbo's, going to try to do it with a custom built supercharger.

I'm really surprised there isn't more info on the site about exhaust stuff.

Yeah, I remember you. I thought a couple of the cars sounded familiar but there are so many on Moparts.
Good to see you here.

I don't believe anyone makes an exhaust for the SRT-6. Being that it is different from the reg Crossfire and the SLK cars.
That's the reason I haven't changed mine yet. If and when I do, I'm just going to remove the stock resonator and do a custom Y-pipe after the cats and use the stock muffler at the rear.
I've read of a couple SLK cars and one SRT-6 that have done this and like it.

One of these days I'll buy a car that actually has real aftermarket stuff for it. Then again, what is the fun in that.

Have you taken a look at my hot rod lately?

I don't know what I'd do if I couldn't fab something every now and then.
