The main reason there is so little in aftermarket for the SRT6 is that there is very little left to improve without major $$$.

(Personal assessment, not a sure fact).

Well since I own a G35 I signed up on the board which also caters to 350Z owners. They call our cars crap over there and say the 350Z is only 3/10ths slower in the 1/4 mile. I thought it was more like 7/10ths slower. but 3/10ths is quite a few car lengths!

Hello . . . new to the forum and recently new owner of one of these "fine" automobiles. The SRT6 has a hand-made engine and superior materials and workmanship to both the Nissans and Infinities. I have driven and sold several makes (including Nissan and Infinity) in the past . . . the comments about these being "crap" cars are completely unfounded and sounds a bit like a jealous sibling. I continue to look forward to the 350Z and G35 drivers squinting to read my license plates as I pull away!

You are going to get that from all forums. Why do you see bad comments about our cars from the Z guys, because there are about 100 times as many drivers and members out there. Trust me, if this board had more active members, we would see a ton of bad comments about Z's and other vehicles...I am not trying to defend again, it's just how owners are about their cars vs. others. And again, just because we can pull on the Z easily during a race, doesn't make the SRT-6 a better vehicle.

Well of course Veto, who in their right mind would ever think Mercedes engineering is better than Nissan.

Well I've opened up a can of worms on the my350Z forum! It's now 6 pages long. If you all have time go read and maybe even defend our cars! Not all post there are negative however. Some guy even posted a link that shows how much quicker the SRT-6 is. It's good reading!!

Competition is good and fun, remember the heydays for Chrysler, Ford and Chevy? It only improves our cars!

the ones that say the crossfire looks like a dog taking a crap from the rear is understandable, because that's the view they are always seeing, the *** of the car.

Actually I think they stole that line from a British car reviewer who said that, lol. I forget his name, probably works for some cheap car magazine like Car and Driver. You know the type of writers that think they know everything about design and engineering, but only have Bachelors in English or History.
He also said the crossfire's got horrible mileage, yeah right! 24-30 mpg is far from horrific.

I am so tempted to behave like a sophomore in H.S., but... Oh WTF, We’re the dog, and they are the crap.

i went to the nissan dealership a couple days ago to get a part for my sentra ser and i was in my vette and a female sales assoc. says, trading in your corvette for a 350z. i said that would be trading down, she said the 350 is faster than you car...i said apparently you do not know what your selling, i am constantly handing 350z drivers there a**. then i get the "if you put a supercharger on the z it will beat your car"...don't think sooo... i am so tired of hearing the z people saying if i had a turbo bla bla bla. if i mod you mod per mod i will still stump your a**. while i was there i looked inside a z and it looks sooo cheap. did mattel do the interior. opened the hood and it looked no better...the hood didn't even have a hood liner on it how cheap is that? i would not trade my vette for 2 of them...thanks just venting.

Sorry to burst the bubble, but I posted almost 2 years ago about an
encounter with a 997 body style Carrera S. I took him from a dead stop,
he in front and I behind, and was passing him. He didn't like it a bit,
based on the expression on his face.

I would give a reference to the thread, but I can't remember the thread
title, nor can I find it listed in the forum. Seems like it dropped off.

Thanks to the guys who came over to the 350Z forum and helped tame those guys. They have accepted defeat. We had to many car magazine articles to back up our talk. To their credit most of them never knew an SRT-6 existed. Gotta run now and look for a cocky 350Z driver to beat down.

That's my biggest problem in AZ. The Mustang GT owners.
I have dominated about 4 of them and now it's no fun...
At 80 mph, they are about 3-4 car lengths behind me...
I have resided to telling them nice car... You don't know
what you are up against...

I just checked the thread over on 350z to see if anyone had taken the offer that feets made, but it seemed to shut them up over there. That's to bad. I really thought that someone over there would have stepped up with there Z to have a run with him.
