ya of course i remember. i've been looking thru this forum lately and there isn't much aftermarket support for this car at all. i'm thinking you guys need a nice intake and exhaust, what else would anyone be interested in?

 

Intake and electric cut-out for sure. Possibly cat delete pipes and resonator delete. Thanks.

Could you give some more details:
How long/often will you need the car?
Will this work void the Chrysler warranty?
Assuming testing is to be done in your shop by employees - are you responsible for damages to the vehicle if they occur?
What will the SRT6 owner receive for the car's use - the parts developed?
Any thing else you can think of.

Wow a good exhaust set up for the SRT would be a dream come true... there isn't a single aftermarket exhaust system out for us... and no there is almost no aftermarket either... Sorry I live about 10 hours from detroit.

 

Sidez, I just posted a site on the exhaust part of the forum, the site say's for Crossfires. A few of them looked pretty tempting, but I don't want to be the guinea pig.

 

I don't really know much about exhaust set ups, but I doubt a muffler can cause any damage outside of the exhaust... Also those mufflers look like they will work on any car... I don't see a mention of crossfire anywhere on the site either...

Unless someone some time soon offers us a full performance exhaust I think just taking the stock exhaust doing a resonator delete, some custom piping and welding tips like for example: http://www.racelook.de/html_english/.../crossfire.php would be our best bet.

How long/often will you need the car?
once for measurements and mockup (a day).
once for final fitment (a day).
once for dyno (a day)

possible if they want to be a stickler but very unlikely, nothing will be irreversible (we will not modify stock components, just make direct replacement parts), the parts im thinking of will effect emissions so therefore they will be sold as off road use only to cover ourselves.

fabricating would be done by myself, welding would be done by the doctor, yes we would be responsible for your car.

correct, free parts.

i don't want to go into too much detail beforehand on a public forum for fear of another company copying our designs again. everything would be disclosed with the srt6 owner and id hope for their feedback thru the process. i almost snagged a srt6 last week myself btu i may just end up with a srt8 and use your/someone's srt4 for the prototyping. i will be on vacation from the 2nd to the 11th so i wont be able to respond here during that time but im looking to get something setup after we get back, thanks, rob

A good looking performance intake set up... that can yield at least marginal gains would be a great start.

Do you mean the actual piping of the intake system? I was looking under the hood and wondering if we could get the air intakes lower near the bottom of the grill so they would actually be taking in cooler air.

Intake would be a great start, but I'd really like to see a e-cutout.

 

I would ABSOLUTELY buy both the intake and Cat-Back exhaust from you. I've got a couple of your parts on my SRT-4 and i know you make great stuff. My only concern is with keeping with the character of the Crossfire. I would LOVE to be able to hear the Supercharger better. I WOULD NOT LOVE the exhaust to drone loudly at highway speed. Not to be too picky.
