Default New to the forum and have questions

So I've been thinking of buying a SRT-6 coupe, but wish it had the 6-speed manual trans. My other choice vehicle I've been looking at is the Infiniti G35 coupe with a 6 speed. I've driven plenty SRT-6s but not the G35. My question is: Have any of you SRT owners driven both? And if so could you give me some input into how different they really are or are not, and why or why not you would pick one over the other. I posted something similar at a G35 site, but all I really got was some crap about how superior of a machine the G35 is over the SRT Crossfire, they are a little snooty over there. Help me out with some opinions guys. Thanks alot, and I really like the site.

I've never driven a G35, but I did seriously consider a 350z Roadster.
I wanted something that had high collectible potential - so the SRT6 won out.
For something to drive everyday, it would have been a much harder choice.

I'm pretty sure one of the members here owns both. The new G35 has about 306 hp which is good. I personally have not driven one. You can get a SRT6 cheaper than the G35 and you like its exclusivity.

ws6vert has a G35, and so does the Crossfire Kid. Cbrseadude, I'm sure if you PM'd either one, they would tell you how they compare to the Crossfire.
From everything I've read about them, they're really a nice car. But then, so is the Crossfire.
I believe the Crossfire is a better bargain, but the G35 is faster (than a Limited XF) and probably has a better resale value too. But the Crossfire is more unique.
It's good to have choices.

to me this looks like a choice between pricy but a four seater and very affordable but a two seater... cause they are really both built very well with great technology behind them.

he is asking about the srt-6, which is easily faster than a g35. handling is close crossfire is probably easier to mod and significantly less expensive.

I am new to the XF forum. I currently own 2 black SRT6's roadsters. Thats another story.

I rented a brand new G35 last month (17 miles on it). There were some nice options on the car like the push button starting. As for the performance and handling, I much prefer the Crossfire. I feel much more in control. The G35 is not as nimble. It is quick, but I questioned where it was going with a quick burst of acceleration.

I guess it depends what you want. The G35 has more amenities. The Xf more responsive and controllable in traffic with the power. IMHO.
