Default my first week with an SRT 6

This has been a great week of driving, I've put 500 miles on it since I bought it. The SRT feels like its a little heavier in the front than the limiteds, but its more of a downforce heavy than an actual weight heavy. My Firebird is much heavier in the front and feels like it pushes, the SRT doesn't instead it just feels heavier (hard to explain). It took me a while to get adjusted to the pedal, it takes much less pedal to go than the limited. This is a great ride and I look forward to many more miles behind the wheel. My only complaint, well I've got two actually. 1. Why did they use the same fuel tank as the limited. Instead of being able to go about 340 miles per tank I now have to fill up every 270. If it wasn't for the weight I would love to have a 40 gallon fuel cell. 2. The wheels are really difficult to clean. Looks like Rotex is in my future very, very soon. Other than those two statements this car is a joy to drive and the power between 80 and 110 (I just got a speeding ticket 3 weeks ago, and don't need another) is incredible.

Glad you are having fun.

I believe the SRT6 wheels design help cool the brakes as they generate lot more heat than the limited/base brakes.

While the Base and Limited are wonderful great performing vehicles. The SRT6 is a blast!

Enjoy the biggest bargain in sports cars!

~ 13[/quote]Rotex Golds make a big difference in the dust, and yes there is quite a bit of difference in the gas mileage when you go from a regular Crossfire to the SRT6. If you really want to have a blast, I got two words for you -- RENNTECH KIT -- , but then you really do have a gas mileage problem because you just can't keep your foot out of it.
