Default Whitish spots on rim

One of the rims of my SRT-6 has some whitish stains. Looks like it could be aluminum oxide. Any suggestions on what it could be and how to remove them.

Thanks.

Do you use a chemical to clean your wheels?
Sometimes they cause spots (depending on brand/type).
Might try some EagleOne NevrDull wadding polish.

Not sure I'd do that on the wheels - Nevr-Dull is mineral spirits so not sure it's good to use on the clear coated wheels.

Eagle One does have Nano-Polish - it's supposed to be OK for clear coated metal, actually polishes the wheel, but I have not tried it yet:
