doubt it, where did you hear that? The sport cams will add 15-20hp to the NA motor but I never heard about sport cams for the AMG engine as I don't think anyone have manufactuered any. If you put the N/A sport cams in the SRT6 or AMG engine you will loose power due to intake exhaust ovelap. If mercedes or AMG did thier homework, I would be willing to bet that the SRT/AMG cams have no exhaust overlap which retains cylinder pressure, thus more power.

I don't believe that increasing valve lift on the SRT engine wil gain more power, the air is already being forced into the cylinders. but cnc porting to the intake ports along with a different valve design will definatly make some ponies.

That's where I came up with my statement that the cams were different, ( I guess it goe's to show don't believe everything you read on these boards). Cam lift, duratrion and lobe are identical between the two engines... if one engine will benfit from the added lift and duration, then the other engine will as well... Providing the engine is tuned for the modification... I've never seen HP claims from Schrick...
