SRT-6 Exhaust Modifications
I have searched/reviewed quite a few threads to help me decide what I want to do with my exhaust. I have seen a few SRT owners have removed both the rear cats and the resonator, and I think I am leaning towards this option but I use mine as a daily driver and I am concerned it will get too loud on the inside of the car. Has anyone removed just the rear cats first? If so, how much more noise/drone was there inside the car?
I think I will do this first, and then if its not too loud I will remove the resonator and see what that's like. Any input on this?

I drove bdjs racing car. He has rear cats and resonator deleted. Its about as loud as id want for my personal daily driver. Kinda sounds like a v6 camaro w/ flowmasters, but a little better. I hate making that comparison but im just being honest. On the upside i didnt notice any bad droning.
Since i like quite exhaust im not going to do this mod unless i see some before and after dynos, because personally im not convinced. 20lb weight saving doesnt outweigh the extra noise to me.
Im willing to bet a rear cat delete alone will not signifigantly change the exhaust note, if at all. Be sure to report back if you do go through w/ it.
