Guys, I haven't had any issues with my car either, but that's not the question.
I think Huudoo wants to know if you came to the forum and read all the different problems some people had with their cars, would you still consider buying one?

I'd have gone up to a Limited - I love my Base Roadster, but the extra features would have been nice...

Yes! Unless I could get a 911 for the same price.

Yes.

I did know all the issues, I'd read about them all here before I finally bought my SRT-6.

If the price was right (25,000_ or less I would. Otherwise based on resale value I would lean towards a corvette. I have not had any big issues, intercooler pump going out, small tranny seal leak, and both front brake rotors warped due to running it at the track and they overheated.

I have had my srt6 for a little over a month and i say yes i made the right choice. I have already had to replace the cupholder but the tray is better anyway. I anticipate a tranny leak as well as the ic pump failure.

I also considered a corvette but considering id want an 08 with the ls3 engine that put the price with ttl around $45000. My second choice was the twin turbo BMW 135i, with ttl comes to about $38000. For the $27000 i paid with ttl i know i made the right choice. I thought to myself in my head..."is the 135i really $11K better, no. Is the Vette really $18000 better, um, no." I now have a car that is paid for that gets respect at the club, 1/4 mi, roadrace/DE's, autox, movies, and is docile enough to drive to work the next day. Ill invest the saved cash elsewhere and when i get some expendable $$$ ill throw on a pulley and ecu.

I have had a couple of minor issues, such as Heated Seat Failure, Outside Temp Sensor, Hatch Leak, Wind Noise and the Headlights clouding. None of that would make me want anything else. I made the right choice in my book and would buy another one tomorrow if something happened to mine.

I have had some minor issues, but then again I do not know of any car that will not have some kind of issues.. and the ones with the crossfire are generally minor.. so yea of course I would buy another crossfire if something was to happen to mine..

What specific issues are you talking about? that are of such concern to you?

I hadn't really heard of the SRT6 up to about a month before I bought mine. I was driving an 04 Xfire coupe and loved it, but was wishing it had a little more power. There's no doubt that I've spent more time modding & cleaning it than driving it. And it has became quite the money pit, but YES I'd buy it again it's one of the best looking cars on the road. Besides being a beautiful car, I love being able to open up a can of whoop a$$ on about anything on the road with a little 196 cubic inch six popper . I just wish I could afford another regular coupe as a daily driver, but I got to have a 4X4 to get in my driveway in the winter.

I would have no problem buying another. Before I got the SRT I tried lots of other cars and always came back to my love of the crossfire.
If this one gets totaled, after I get out of prison I will get another.

Actions speak louder than words. I bought my Roadster exactly the way I wanted it brand new, and paid a lot (compared to today's prices) even with a supplier discount and rebates. But I enjoy the vehicle so much I wanted a mate. So yesterday I completed the purchase of an SRT6 of the same vintage and color. Now I have a "set".

Yes, I have been forewarned about the intercooler, foggy headlights, and failing seats and will be on the lookout for the next 18 months until my mfr warranty expires. But frankly, other than a window track rattle and the recall fix of the fan, my 3 year old car with 26k miles has been flawless.

THANKS for the input ,, the reason i ask was usually the treatment from the dealer/ service dept is due to lack of knowledge..i know all cars have issues , i had a 04 gt mustang and it had a lot of issues maybe i am too picky , and the car is a very good value compaired to what is on the market

well looks like the price might be going down now....

as for me i did serch the forum for issues and made the purchase anyway
