Sprintbooster vs. W/S Switch vs. Precipitation
I am interested in improving the livliness of my transmission with the Sprintbooster BDD451A2. I've searched all over the forum, and can not find a thread that mentions the affect it has on the W/S switch.
Does anyone out there know how the W/S transmission switch reacts to the sprintbooster?
I don't usually let her out in the rain, but In the rare case of a surprise Oklahoma rainstorm, will the Sprintbooster make driving hazardous?
Thanks in advance for the input!

With the Sprint Booster BDD451A installed I found that with the W/S switch in the "W" mode (eliminating first gear) if you accelerate quickly from a stop it will override this feature and kick down to first gear as if you were in "S" mode. If you are not aggressive from a dead stop it has no affect.

I didn't have any trouble with mine and it was NOT the A2. Therefore, mine was more aggressive.
I wouldn't try acting 'ballsy' in the rain though...because it will definitely make the throttle more touchy.
