Dyno results, what gives???
When I got my great results the readout shows that the ignition control limited the engine at 5500. I can easily turn 6000 plus a tiny bit but in third gear the car cut out at 5500 twice (on the dyno rollers ). The tech said that the transmission in third gear is about 1 to 1 and that is the place to run a dyno read out. Is this true for you guys???
My torque was still building and the rpm if it was extended to 6000 would have gone higher, BUT it did not want to. WHY, anyone else seen this behaviour on their dyno events. It is not the speed limiter as the car was not even at speeds the car has provided elsewhere.
Suggestions and thoughts welcomed, Woody

This is normal. The ECU will not allow you to run the car at redline without the front tires rolling.
You have no choice but to dyno the car to 5500 rpm.

Well that is good news, now are my results wrong cauz they did it in third?
If the front were rolling I could go to 6000, would that not cause the numbers to be even better as the torque and rpm product would be still building some until they peaked/
Last question: Has anyone gone to 6000 to see what the 6 can really pull at the top?
Thanks bunches for the great data and info. Woody
