Friday night fun
Hit the strip tonight to bracket race. Way different not trying to break a time on dragtimes. My car was running in the 12.9's. The density was pretty tough, and took .4 tenths off normal. I used a 13.20 dial and cut good lights and great 60' times and lifted on the top end so I didn't break out. The closest was the final against a cobra, but he gave me way to much on the light and I was way out ahead. The first elimination round was against a bike with a 12.10 dial. He spun the tire and couldn't recover I was gone. My average time was 13.40's at 78 mph, so you could tell how much I actually braked to slow down, because I was so far ahead. My 60' were mid 1.80's and the track wasn't prepared well tonight. Crossfire SRT6 was the champion tonight.

Hey Quick,
Congrats on your track performances!! Us New Englanders had our first cruise together as a group, -N-E-X- (New England Xfires) last weekend. It was great fun. Check out some pics in the guys' galleries. Just go to the end of the Cape Cod Cruise thread in the New England forum. Bet you can't guess which one is mine?

Super job, and great driving. Steve and I will be doing some bracket racing next Sat. I sure hope they prep the track for the money we are paying out. Last night at test and tune they did ZERO PREP, it's really not worth going to early year T&T's because of the poor track prep or none at all.
Thanks guys. That homie looking guy is the champ. At least for that night. One runner up and one win is not bad for this novice. Only the 3rd time I've bracket raced. Usually just go to test and tune. These cars are really consistent regardless of the weather. Either all your passes are quick or all your passses are slow. I'm usually within .05 tenths on all my runs. Can't wait for you guys to take the east coast and midwest by storm this spring and summer. Have fun and be safe.
Great job and way to represent!
as a semi-pro bracket racer, its nice to see some of you guys trying it and not just going heads up all the time. It take skill to win in bracket racing, not just someone with the deeper pocket
