Man, you guys are tough! Wasn't trying to offend, just some light hearted joking at the expense of Jim's typing. Sometimes this forum is way too serious. I've joked and have seen people joke only to be jumped on like a pit-bull's slab of meat.
Cheers!

Tone and inflection can be really hard to properly ascertain on a forum, which is why some people do the whole pit-bull on a slab of meat reaction when there's no need for it.

As a matter of fact, 240M3SRT now holds the honor of being the first A**hole to go on my "Ignore" list!

By the way, Since you're a true American, American. Does that explain your obsession with American Motors?

If we're talking about tweaking the stock grill, could this "improvement in airflow" also be had by just replacing the stocker with one of the mesh grills that SRT SIX is landing for us?

This makes it 60%-69% open. 31%-40% blocked. I'm unsure how this compares with a stock xFire grill.
I am told by an aerospace engineer that the "blocking power" or turbulence of a mesh INCREASES with velocity. Screening the inlets of a jet engine would seem to be a wonderful way to decrease FOD (foreign object damage), however the loss in power makes it unworkable. He didn't have the time, or interest to work out the numbers for 100 to 160 miles per hour, but said it would be "significant".
