As for maxcichon, he should not call anyone an @sshole. For example, he bashed my old car for no reason when I posted up a thread on it to show people here some of the old work I had done so his comment is like the pot calling the kettle black.

- I didn't bash anyones car. I was trying to point out that this is a Crossfire forum. What really got to me was posting 3 linear feet of photos and magazine articles about a car that doesn't really belong here. I can't bash anyones car-I don't have the background. And if you'll kindly refer to that thread, it might be noticed that my only reply was that it looked as though you had put in a lot of work. If not an overt compliment, at least it is not damning by faint praise.
- When 240m3srt poked fun at Jim (amx1397), it came across as extremely abusive and above all racist. Not something I'll ever take lying down. 1/2 of my inlaws are Native American, and I would challenge anyone to find a finer group of folks. Racists are @ssholes. Plain and simple. Youth is many things, but never an excuse.

I'm considering trying this mod, but also adding small scoops/wind deflectors attached to the intake inlets. First I'm in AZ and don't drive in the rain, what rain. Anything to direct more air into inlets has to help. Please shot holes in this idea before I attempt to fabricate.

I had dont an article on this and the cooling gains the motor got, along with the intake airflow.

Woody, I am honored you replied. I just straighten the grill in front of the air intakes. Took 30 minute drive and temp guage never got above 1/2, About 75 out right now. I still have the stock intake on car. My second project was to build air deflectors/scoops and attach to intakes. This would direct more air to the intake opennings. Do you think this would make a difference with all other restrictions farther up the intake system?
BTW - Love the work on your hood.

Restrictions are all additive, kill one and you gain a bit. All improvements add to the overall operation of a heat engine, breathing is everything, Enjoy the Day. Woody

Am I right, Jim?
