Today I went to the Doorslammer Nationals @ Maryland International Raceway and ran a 11.03 @ 130 mph!

aaah your cheating, using nitrous, tisk tisk, I thought you had some killer set up. never mind, this is about as impressive as a 12 second limited on n20, sounds cool, but not reliable enough for me.

when will you guys go the turbo route, I want to see some wild 9 second cars!

Thats not fair...Maxwell runs 10's in his NA crossfire...it's just that his 10 second run is on a 1/8th mile track.

 

Come on guys, quit hating on him, whether you're just joking or not. Sustainable HP is in the area of what $20-$30 per HP? Who here's got that kind of bankroll to finance that?? I'm neither defending nor hating on Nitrous, but 11sec is 11sec. Who else here has that?? I sure as hell know I don't.

 

Why some people think nitrous is cheating is beyond me. Why are so many members on this site so hell bent on bashing everyone that races their cars and achieve anything?

Nitrous is a power adder just like a supercharger is, a turbo, headers, intake and so on. They ARE ALL POWER ADDERS, if nitrous is "cheating" (lmao) then so is a turbo, supercharger, headers, etc.

Nitrous is also very reliable as long as you have the supporting mods.

MD srt6 has done some great things with his car, what have you done with yours maxwell? Until you are running faster times then you have no right to attack his car.

As for your mighty turbo, do you have one on your car? Why are you so into them? Do you read fast and furious magazines and that is what has you stuck on them as the only "true" power adder?

Please keep this thread on topic, a srt6 nearly in the 10's is very impressive and I for one would like to have a clean thread to follow the progress on it with.

 

WOW! Great run man! That must have felt pretty good going down the track! How did the car hold up? At least we are all glad this little beast can take a beating. Also, do you have a roll cage? I know going that fast a cage is a requirment.

How much do you think the 3.2L can take just out of curiosity? What about the tranny? Any thoughts there? The last time you said the tranny shifts with the 125HP shot were a little weak. Did you have the same problem?

Again, that is an awesome run...don't care what others may think of N2O - speed is speed and you are definitely pushing the limits!
