Default had the idea of...
replacing the light above the center console and make it bright white led, is this possible? anyone taken off the plastic cover before?

Yes, I have replaced all internal lights with white LED's (dome light, glove box, cargo area). The cover just pops out with a little force, I believe its held in place by four connecting points. There will be what I call “small heat shields” covering the two lights, once you remove the primary cover. To remove the SHS just slide them down ward, then you just pull the OEM lights out and put your LED’s in. You will not need the SHS with the LED’s.

Its a nice improvement over OEM.
