Default Help with stock intake removal?

Hey guys, are there any instructions for removing the stock intake setup? Or can anyone type something quick here. It seems easy but I don't want to unscrew everything and mess something up trying.

Thanks

if you're just talking about the air box you just slip off the front 2 intake tubes and then lift up on the air box, it'll slip off it might take a slight tug but it will not hurt anything

The two intake tubes will just slide out also. The Y tube clips on with two black plastic clips, top and bottom. Just pull them out and pull the Y tube back towards the firewall. I believe that you can actuall take the air boxes and Y tube off as a unit if you want. Just dont twist the air boxes out of the Y tube when you pull them up off thier rubber mounts.

I wrote up a post about gasket matching and porting these parts if you care to look up my posts.

Question, being that you just got into the crossfire, what do you have in mind? Just thought it odd to pull the intake as you didnt what you had in mind, thanks WOody ENJOY

I removes the clamps on mine so i can remove one air box at a time and then the y with the rubber boots comes off by it self, the reason i dis this is at the track i change intakes without the clamos it makes it a 2 min job, to remove the intire intake system, putting it back works just the same 2 min and i am back to stock jim
