The guys at mbworld.org are doing a track rental on 11-15-08, they are also hoping to toss in a few bucks to get extra vht sprayed on the track which means extra good traction!

It is a private track rental so there will be around 40 cars total there. that means you can race all you want, more than enough track time. I bet you could get in 30 runs that day if you really wanted to run that much lol.

There's gonna be some HEAVY hitters there! I hate to say it, but I think a lot of you guys are going to have your as*es handed to you.

I'm not trying to start a fight, but I'd almost like to go just to watch some of those cars run!

 

I could care less even if I am the slowest car there, it will be a lot of fun and a chance to beat my best time. A bonus will be to see some high dollar cars run that day.

 

If you can get a tune before the track day I bet you run very low 12's! You ran some great times without a tune, I can imagine what you will run with one! Make sure whoever does your tune understands you will be running rich if they just give you the 178mm pulley tune. If you go with inmotion you can tell them to give you my tune.

I just got off the phone with InMotion and he agreed to flash my ECU with the same parameters as mrphotoman. Hopefully that will do the trick and get me in the the low 12's where I belong. I am not giving up on 12.2 without the NeedsWings Manifolds.

I was reviewing my videos and have tires changes set up to try and get the power to the ground this time. My 235 Kumos just did not make it, Ill be mounting my 275x35x17s to gain some width. Same height - no gearing advantage though.

Is that a drag radial version?

 

THey are the KUMO V710 series and I guess that I did not check that out, I have had these from my 1988 daytona and have little wear on them. The size is 275 x 40 x 17" BTW. Woody

 

I've heard of the Hoosier A6, but not the kuhmo's? I see the Kuhmo Ecsta V710 is alot like the hoosier.

 

Wow...those things cost as much, or MORE, than Hoosiers and M/T DR's. They do look pretty good though. Those should help you a lot. Good luck.
