I've been saying this to everybody who puts their car away for the winter. I swear if we could run on a track on a high 30 to low 40 degree day you would probably see a ton of real low 12 second to mid 11 sec SRT6's. Only problem would be traction because lighting up the tires in those temperatures really doesn't take much throttle.

No doubt about it: our cars just about leap off the pavement!
CAI + Cool temps. = magic rocket mobile !
30 degrees this morning. In some respects I can't wait for a zero degree day!

Ditto on the loss of traction at low temps, especially on the PS2s.

I think the cold weather acceleration is best when the tires are above their glass transition temperature AND the air is cold.

Maybe we should be wrapping our tires in heaters like they do in F1!

I knew there must be something good about living at this elevation and this far North.
I have seen 53 degrees below Zero. maybe we'll heat up the track and set some records!
Just kidding everyone, so please don't send a bunch of Dumb S@%& get a clues.

For some reason these cold mornings are really eating away at my rear tires!

The loss of traction at cool temps is the reason I stuck with the CONTI tires, they are rated for the cold temps we see in the Minnesota fall season. I wasn't concerned about traction in snow because I garage it after the first "salting' of the roads, some years that could be mid November and by then I will see temps in the teens on some mornings.
