Default Fans always on

When I turn my interior fans OFF there is still a decent amount of breeze coming out of the vents. The fans turn ON and OFF, but it almost like the engine is venting directly into the car (its not exhaust, there's no smell).

I close the vents (which substantially reduces the issue, but still present)

Any one else have this issue?

All cars after 1985(I think 85) have this. Its a safety precaution to make sure that proper ventilation always goes through the car and people dont die of carbon monoxide. Its not really on but there is fresh airflow thats gonna be pushed into the cabin.

Car is on, in park, fan in off position. And the air cirulation button can be ON or OFF doesn't matter.

has the radio been changed ? either way pull the radio and check the wiring for the HVAC controll panel to make sure there is no pinched wires, there has been a lot of wires getting pinched/ worn through causing a number of problems in that area of the console. it also could be a bad controll panel, or even a problem with the cabin fan controll module

It's the stock radio, and I bought the car with 4,500miles on it, but that doesn't mean that the previous owner didn't screw something up. Either way I'm taking it to the garage to see what they say.

those dam little critters they ate my car too, just right in front of the ABS module ate through 15 wires what a mess but I repaired them myself [ saving myself 1000's from the dealer ] did not set any codes and all is fine, glad you found your problem with the fan

That's crazy.... <looks over to cat sitting on the couch>... maybe I should make his home in the garage. Don't think he would like that...

I had mice making a nest right on top of my SC(see gallery) and also below the brake master cylinder behind the heat shield early this year. I got 3 mice in traps and havent had a problem since.

And dont forget +amxfire and the dog food in the muffler.

They'll be looking for a nice winter home. Start setting out your traps boys.
