First race last night - Now I need some mods
LOL
Usually when someone wants to upgrade the car after some racing, you know what that means
Anyways, buddies car putting down about 360/400 to the wheels had no problem walking from me. It was expected, but damn it, now I want to "get even" LOL.
Time to start counting pennies I guess.

My buddy was riding shotgun in the Crossfire, while our other 2 buddies were driving his car.
LOL.
I think he gets a kick out of sitting in the slower car watching someone else drive his
Naa, it was the first time he was in my car. Im trying to convince him to get one

Well, first off was your top up or down? If it was down that'll drop the car's performance 2-3 tenths. The roadster runs a little slower than the coupe just because of the rag top causing more drag than smooth metal, about another 2 tenths (compared to another SRT-6).
I'd look first @ getting an intake on the car. Then maybe a 178 or 181mm pulley and Inmotion tune (really cause it's $300 cheaper than a LET tune and hte results are about same). Sooo, it'll be around $1,800 for all of it.

AND this is where the sickness begins....
Re: First race last night - Now I need some mods
oh, I know about these old malibus, but I also know what these little roadsters are capable of, and I think you had better check your roadster for IC pump failure, 'cause there isn't anyway in the world he should have pulled away from you short of him having one hell of a hole shot w/ 4.11 or 4.56 gears, I still say you would take out of the hole...mid 12's are mid 12's, but that's ok, 'cause as was said, this is where the sickness begins...and you are a new owner...so check out the times of other srt's on here...and their to the wheels hp...good luck, but don't continue to let us down like that....SRT6-Man...don't put her away yet....we need a kill here....
