Default Wow...

I am really considering picking up another 6. The prices are just outrageous!! I have seen several on cars.com for less than 19k. Even though it has some miles, it is still a steal IMO. You could probably get that thing for 14k. I have 51k on mine now and (knock on wood), no major issues.

They are almost getting cheap enough to buy one for spare parts.

I guess that you missed the one that was for sale for $13500 a few weeks back.
Hell that's what I paid for my used Camry a year ago!

Warren Buffet:

"Be fearful when others are greedy and buy Crossfire SRT6's when others are fearful!"

(I may be paraphrasing. I am not a registered financial planner.)

On another note, that car has been driven about 15,000 miles per year. It's a daily driven SRT apparently, I wonder how well it's held up under that kind of use.

I'm selling my SRT with 18K miles for $21k with "extra goodies" on it.

Full factory warranty until Feb 2010, too. :-/

People drive cars every day all the time lol. I have an old 2000 elantra with 140,000 miles on it that drives like new. I would say if the srt6 was a daily driver then it must have been reliable or he wouldn't have driven it every day.

I bought mine new 25 months ago for $29,995 + tax. It only has 3,600 on the clock, I don't get out much. I would like to drive it more often when the wife & I go somewhere, but she hates the car. I've considered selling it, but I would lose a lot of money if I did so. I do have a blast driving it when I get time to, but I'm alway's scared it's going to get damaged. Where I live there's a lot of deer, coal trucks, rock trucks and construction trucks that has crap falling out the back all the time.

I bought mine September 15, 2007, with 000018 miles on the odometer. It was built March 16, 2005. Thirty months of doing nothing, and it was still in great shape. There were only a few hiccups, so this 2006 is probably fine.

I got the exact opposite from my wife. I sold my ZO6 vet because she stated everybody has one and it was an old man's car. The 1965 Backdraft was sold because it was fun but pretty useless no top, windows, door locks.... My SRT-6 though she loves it. She always takes it when she brings my daughter to a friends house or sweet 16. My son also loves to drive it, and my daughter who has her permit has driven it about 10 times. This is the only sports car the entire family has come together on

My wife don't mind driving it she just hates riding in it. She has only driven it 2 times, once right after I bought it when it was stock and a few months ago after all the performance goodies had been installed. The second time I was standing outside the garage when she pulled up, she got out and said "I guess I've not drove that thing since you did all that work on it, how the hell do you keep from getting a ticket".

Well, if I wasn't going back to school to finally finish my degree, I would have a second SRT-6 in the garage. At the prices they're selling for, it would be hard not to.
