Default Scams or Deals

Wanted some feedback on the SRT-6's that seem to be available in the Michigan area (Autotrader and Craigslist). There seem to be a few going for unbelievable prices. Has anyone seen any of them or run across deals like these before? Sometimes too good to be true is just that! While I wouldn't mind finding a deal, money is too hard to make these days to stupidly throw it away.

I'm sure a number of them are scams. The black one on Craigslist comes to mind.....I've seen that EXACT same ad a few months back.

There's also been a few that were in beautiful shape. (some that I've checked out for other members that I've almost bought!)

You have to understand.......unemployment up here is ridiculous right now, and not looking to get any better with the big 3 hurting so bad.

Many people have had these cars as weekend rides, that is no longer something many up here can afford anymore. The other issue is that I see at least 5 Crossfires a day.....the area is saturated with them.

I've seen a few SRT-6's going for as low as $16,000. The average price is $18,000 to $24,000 depending on mileage and if it's a Coupe or a Roadster. http://autotrader.autos.msn.com/fyc/...first_record=1

I bought my 05 SRT6 about 3 years ago and got it for$ 27,000 from a sticker price of $46,000 and that was brand new. My first one was a 04 coupe and got it for $30,0000 from a sticker price of $36,0000 which was new also. So yes there are some good deals out there, but as always with any used car, you have to check out the car you are looking at, and do your homework, if you do get one you will love the car itself, everyone on this forum loves our xfires.
