well, I am going to fix this little problem, but I was just going to go ahead and do a ATF change since the car is at 84K.

How high did you have to jack the passenger side up to avoid fluid loss?

I went as high as my floor jack allowed. Guessing 18" or so on passenger side only.
You will need it high enough so you can get in there and work.

DON'T FORGET JACK STANDS!

I had the same idea but didn't know if it would work. I have the plug sitting on my tool box and my tranny isn't leaking so I haven't been in a rush to get it done. You mention using caution lining up the plug, any tips?

DON'T make it fit!
Mine would not align so I "helped" it.
I suspect that the inner connector on my trans was already out of it's proper position and that's why I had troubles.

When I did my roadster the pieces just fell into place. Easy peasy.

OK.....now I have to ask. How did you realign the pins with the plug socket?

LOL.
Are you talking about how it's supposed to work or after I "helped" it?

Without "helping" it's just a matter of aligning the connector. Worked perfect on the roadster.

If you find it won't align (you "helped" it) then you gotta drop the pan (may as well buy a new trans filter at this point) and the valve body.

This is why I sent my valve body to Builder Bill to get modified. Figured it was out might as well send it!

Yep.
Just pay attention on how it all comes out.
Reverse to install.

I'm real interested in how the valve body works for you. I've been looking at it since I got the car but I'm slow to experiment when I can't do the work myself. Give us the low down when it's been in there for a while.

Take it back. Any Chrysler dealer can get that ATF if they don't stock it .

What in the hell and I doing wrong???
I CANNOT get the electrical connector in the new shell.
I have been trying I **** you not for 2 hours! I have to worst headache ever this is so freaking frustrating.
I have removed the new shell and tried putting it back in. I pushed it in, After the second time I pushed as hard as I could and it didn't move anymore, so it HAS to be as far as it will go. I can get the new shell in and lined up and all but the electrical connector will NOT fit!
WTF am I doing wrong???

Grr.

I got the connector back in, finally. -_-
But I think my dad's puppy ate the T27 bolt for the heat shield. grand.
I blocked off the whole car to where the dog couldn't get to it, and dad moves everything in the morning.

My dad also knocked the wooden ramps onto my door leaving 2 very nice dents.
