Haven't Visited 4 Awhile

I haven't been on the forum for quite awhile and it looks like it would take a lot of reading to catch-up on all the interesting things being discussed and all the performance tricks / products available now. I decided to take a look around after getting numerous PM's over the past few months from members asking for advice and information about my racecar.
I'm sure you guys have taken the bull by the horns and the forum is a wealth of knowledge and hearty discussion. Sadly my Crossfire is very neglected now because I've recently purchased a STOHR SportsRacer which will take some time to finish the assembly and get it sorted for competition. Not to mention trying to get used to driving a car that's putting 190hp to the ground and only weighs 800lbs.
Anyway, here's the Crossfire in a photo heading to the track a few months ago.

And here's a photo of the STOHR DSR... When mine is completely assembled, I'll post some photos next to the Crossfire.

Good to see you've found your way back! It's been a long time.
Really likin' that racecar....is it gonna be done and racing soon? What kind of engine has that thing got? All carbon fiber? Damn....I have too many questions now....you are hereby notified that you are obligated to post a few pics when you get done with the build.

Great to see you posting again Derek, have you given up trying to get that Supercharged 6 spd. running?
Here's a little bit more info on HDDP, for those "New" forum members who may not know what a celebrity he is.

My question is when does this guy find time to enjoy his cars?

While I was at Road Atlanta I met some guys from Ten 10ths Racing while they were testing a couple of Stohr W1 SportsRacers. Oddly enough, one of them was VERY interested in what I had done with my Crossfire, he had never seen one on the track before, especially one that was fully race prepped. He asked if he could do a few laps in it and I said sure, if you let me do a few laps in your W1.
Needless to say, after 5 laps in that sportsracer I had to have one. And as they say, "THE REST IS HISTORY".
Unfortunately, I am heading back to Charleston in two weeks thru the middle of August. So the yet-to-be-assembled sportsracer will sit in crates and boxes on the floor of my garage and the Crossfire will sit on it's trailer collecting dust, till I return.
I'll check the forum periodically to say hi...
PS: if anyone on the forum is still thinking about swapping the NA engine for the SRT engine, have them PM me. It's quite an expensive and time consuming process. And IMHO not worth the $, time and headaches. But at least I know how to do it now

lol, sorry to hear the swap ended up being such a pain in the ***. let me know if you need some help turning wrenches on the new race car when you are back in town Derek, awesome to see how much your company has blasted off since meeting you. I like the new towing vehicle!
