I have been offered a throttle body from a E55, i know i have to get the part that goes on the SC that the throttle body bolts to this i am told will make it fit,, will the electronics work the same and is it worth 250.00 thanks in advance jim

Would need to look at the specs of each to determine if the electronics would work. Can't make any assumptions in this case.

 

i don't know I also don't know what size the stock xrossfire srt-6 theottle body is. i was just offered it and told the guy i would get back to himm ,I am still learning this car jim

 

I think the e55 has a 72mm stock, not sure what the 6 has, Gains would probably be minor

 

Never know, it depends on the year E55. In the SL55's the first couple years were 72mm but toward the later years (before the new model), I believe 06+ maybe 07, the SL55 TB's were 80mm.

Only get it if it's the 80mm TB, otherwise I don't think it's worth the time to make it fit
