Default ? Best 178 Pulley Kit ?

Has anyone actually (hands on) compaired the difference in the 178 crank pulley kits? I've read Soooo many recent complications with pulley's having to be machined down for proper belt alignment and idler bearing failures. I think we are finally past all that now! Maybe over reacting but I still have concerns of the added RPM's to all the belt driven accessories. For now,I'm going to purchase some manufactures 178 crank pulley then later add the new bigger style Code 3. Thanks.. Squirrel Crusher

I have ASP, no problems here after 5000 miles. Easy install thanks to the 550ftlb mini Craftsman impact gun I bought. Just pulled the radiator fan and it fits right in there. Well worth the $160 I paid for it. I spoke with code3 and will be picking up there new mid sized pulley kit when it is released in the next couple weeks. So I'll be sure to post feedback on that.

I have the 178 ASP also and havent had a problem with it at all.Just curious when you spoke with code 3 about the mid sized pulley if he said it will require a belt change or can you still get away with the stock belt?

Also the LET 181 and 185 kits are fully updated and should be problem free. I don't think you will see too much of a difference between a 178 or 181 in my opinion. Just another option

same size belt....but you might need to get the Code3 Belt Wrap Kit when it is released. If it is not required, I'm sure Brandon will highly recommend it.

you dont need it.......in fact, the gatorback belt is slightly larger than the one that comes stock on our car. you might see slighly more belt slip with it.
