93 cheveron, but I have two five gallon drums of Sunocco 104 waiting to be tested. Once I get my 55gallon drum I will run a 50/50 mix of 93/104 all the time. It's $320 for 55gal=$5.85 per gallon. Not too bad for added insurance against the summer heatwave coming soon.

I have a storage building in the very back of my property and insurance. I might actually split the 55 drum with coworker, since it will probally take me year to burn through it by myself. He is thinking about running it in his NSX. Everyone else around hear runs the leaded stuff.

You should play it like the stock market, wait till oil goes down again
before you fill the drum..
I would not let the local racers know you have 104 in your shed..

A friend of mine tested various 93 octane gasolines for anti knocking. Citgo came out on top with Chevron a close second. Since Chevron uses Techron in their fuels, I've been leaning more towards that. Also once a week I add 1 gallon of 100 to the mix to be sure there's no timing being pulled during those fun moments.

I don't race mine and generally use mid-range gas. Maybe every other fill-up, and I usually let it get down to a 1/2 tank, I'll throw in premium. Notice no difference in gas mileage or performance, but as I say I drive it conservatively but fast. Ditto for the other two XFs and for my Audi A6 2.7T.

I always put in regular old 93 octance pump gas. I'm not too picky about what brand either, though I will only use BP in an emergency. If I have a choice, I use Citgo or Shell. Occasionaly I throw in the Shell 94 octane, but I can't tell the difference. I've only seen one place in my area that sells anything higher and they closed. Of course, I could buy race gas at the track, but that's pricey.

I think they have all octane levels (at a lot of stations) in Tampa since that's where FL get's most if not all of it's oil/gas.

I remember seeing 91, 93, 94, and 100 at a station once.

We can get 100 octane and any Sunoco

I am running 94 octane. But of I want to get crazy there is a county race track in Morris IL about 20 min south of me and in town they have 104 octane on the pump. I run it in my bike, and it makes a huge difference especially in the heat of the summer, seems to run cooler, and it smells nice too.
