'06 SRT-6 at the track!
The secret weapon was a FAIL! Finally had good weather (no rain) and after dealing with the Orcs (work) I got to the track. Someone please give me tips on how to hook with PS2's! I ran from 13.6 to 13 flat. The mph on all my runs was 107.5 for the slowest to 108.5 for the fastest. One run was against a nice modified 350Z. He got me 1 car off the line and we stayed that way all the way to the finish line. (same reaction time by the by) I may have caught up a foot, he wasn't pulling away. It was all hooking at the line. Sucker ran a 12.85 to my 13.2. One car. All at the line. Can I buy a can of superglue or something to spray on my tires? The slowest run was at 36psi. I keep reading about xfires running 36 with little problem but for me its an epic fail. I really don't want to lower beyond 28 but If the tires will stick a 1/10th better I'll give it a go. Now your up to date. I guess the driver mod will have to loose a bit more. On a side note. The track was nearly empty. I came from tech straight to the line. I never cooled the car. It was one run after the other. The funny thing is the fastest runs are when I'm the hottest. I wonder what that's all about.

I have stock conti's and haven't ran them at the track since I added more than my nw intake. I used to lower my conti's to 26 psi and still hookup was decent but not great. I never ran them on nothing more than a trophy night. So track prep was not fantastic. I have a vid when I went to the track with my pulley and no tune yet. Needless to say it was scary. I'll see if I upload it later.
Well I just got back from the track and my best was 13.0141 at 107.10 with a 60' of 2.0402. Not what I was looking for but the car shifted early on the 1-2 and 2-3 shifts because I was loosing traction. I pulled the memory chip from the dashdaq and it's blank. I don't know what's up with it but I'm upset. The car feels too strong for the tires. I played with pressures and the best was 28lbs. I went as low as 20. But the truth is I can't leave hard no matter the pressure. The runs I was feathering the throttle through first and second were the same mph as the rest. I really wanted to see those data logs. The only thing I can think of is the cable got tugged loose and damaged the info on the memory chip. Oh well, there's always next week.
