Hanging in DA HOOD
Well if you check the time on the photos, youll see that planning makes it all easier..........
The shots in the Gallery tell more of the story and youll see that it is progressing faster and I think better than I first hoped. Iam using tape rolls for mockup but you can take the engineer out of the lab but you cant take the prototype out of the engineer.
With about 6 or 8 hours of clean up, Ill have it weather ready and then Ill have to figure out the type of paint formulation I want on the front end. With any luck the special batteries will be shipped to the states in a couple of weeks and Ill get them in for autocrossing season, yippie. Weight savings for real.
This looks like a TAAAA DAAAAmoment so far, BTW it all fits but Ill only drop the scoops about and inch plus not more, from an appearance standpoint.........WOODY

Woody, that is looking pretty interesting. I like the shallower hanging version better as you said. Subtle is good. Look forward to hearing how it performs when your done.

The ribs were part of the design, I used them to stiffen the hood and weaken the FLAP. THe flap bent down easily and Ill have to go toe to toe with my self to see what I like. Its not easy fighting with yourself, FINISH IT - - - - wait a day; till your sub-conscious [your DNA COPROCESSOR] gets to vote. That way you dont end up on a coyote date of hood if you know what were talking.
Everything big made it back from burger king and lowes and none of the big pieces fell off, so Ill get back at it now that I have more gorrila tape. THat stuff is great for mockups and protecting the paint when cutting of such.........
The scoop is BELOW the horizon and can not be seen inside the car, so that is a no big thing. It does have the warm fan air pop out and Ill have to add temp loggers to see the effect.
The relief of hot high pressure from under the hood and any ground effect assistance will wait for the next track meet------------Photoman are you getting the program ready to call the class to order? WOODEYE

That looks pretty cool, I am excited to see the finished product and I will get some photos of your car the next time I am at MIR.
They open up the first weekend of March! I will not make it down until mid march though
