Talking Re: Bang for buck ??

When I had the code 3 and a cai unmodified on I was running about 330 RWHP.
With a dual intake and other changes, I got a bunch more but my local dyno is being relocated for 2 months - boo.

With a bigger pulley planned next month and other changes, I am hoping to get close to that big 400 at the back. Its all possible, Iam believing that 425 is possible without laughing gas, honest, no kidding.

Enjoy the weekend WEeeeee. Woody

BTW Iam a big proponent of deleting the muffler for some top end power also.

so with just the cai and code 3 you were getting the 330whp? thats without the ecu tune? and my brother has a 04 limited and just has cat back .. like a y pipe no muffler and it has a nice sound with his intake.. kinda a v8 growl-ish.. but a little higher pitched when he gets on it.. i will most definately do a cat back straight pipe.. would you know a rough price on the CAI, Code3 and ECU?

Woody,

Not sure if you frequent MBWorld, but in the archives of the C32, C55 subforum, there's a lot of good R&D postings by Vadim (used to be with evosport, now VRP). IIRC, he stated the S/C is absolutely out of air and maxed out at ~420 rwhp... so your guestimate is right on the money.
