Default Ran the car again and did much better

Got a chance to hit the track this friday once again (3rd time in 3 weeks, lol).
My best run before was: 12.6 @ 109 w/ 1.957 60ft
Last night my best was: 12.3 @ 111 w/ 1.778 60ft

Last night was a much better temp than freezing- it was 55-60. The coldest it got was 48 when I left the track at 8:30pm.

The other changes were I put my stock rims/tires (Michelin P2s) back on and I removed the front grill. I don't know how much of a difference the later made but I heard other say they ran their best times with the grill off.

So with my mods I'm where I should be considering I'm a heavy driver (280) roughly 100lbs heavier than most others on here- which will account for a tenth. However my trap is still a little low.

If, for example, an extra 100lbs accounts for a 1/10th, would it affect traps as much as say 3mph? Or were the low HP numbers my car showed on dyno the culprit (342hp/360tq)?

Excellent 60ft with stock tires. Post your launching/burnout technique.

Great times!

I learned from the 60ft Jedi Master...Chris (distantpulse). So long as he's ok with me reciting his technique I'll go through it.

Lmao! :P I don't know about all that now, but I have had success treating it like my other race cars. Fire away!

I think that extra 100lbs helped the rear tires stick to the track better!!! Nice times.

Great improvement! Either your a fast learner or the computer is adapting to the new parameters... or both or neither. I'm just real happy for you.

After reading that old post I have nothing to add. Chris is the man.

Better track temps, and took the crappy All-Season tires off!
