I hear a faint pop whenever I turn coming from passenger side front, but only on a hill and completely stopped!?! I never hear it while moving and turning on flat surfaces...just coming to a stop on hills while comitting to turn. Anyone know what this may be? 1 more....when I stop for red light somtimes I think the fan comes on for like 6 seconds which dims the console lights...once it stops they get back bright. Do you think my alternator may be going bad or something.

 

Hey. I also hear a popping noise from my car while at a stop. I don't have to be turning or on a hill; I hear it all the time. It sounds like it's coming from the rear. Ugh...

 

I just took my car in for the 6th time and they finally figured out that there was something loose on the muffler or something like that... let me call the dealership real quick and hit you guys back.

 

I think this has something to do with the steering dampner wearing out. I am experiencing the popping too so I picked up a dampner but haven't had time to install it yet. I will this weekend and I'll let you guys know if that takes care of the sound.
