My SRT-6 has been going thru 90MM and 85MM BBK throttle body testing. At this time I would suggest holding off rushing to put a larger throttle body on a SRT-6. Squirrel Crusher

are you having issues with that size? i'm looking to try a 78mm size, to go with the intake upgrades.

Can I ask why? What has been your experience like?

Thank you

The 90MM BBK would have random hiccups only at steady cruising speeds. Great off the line but annoying hiccups. The 85MM BBK didn't cause hiccups at steady cruising speeds. But my rear bumper was always covered in black soot from being to rich. Was running TTM 550 injectors with the 90MM and 85MM. With lots of professional tuning (Not By Me),the numbers were slowly coming around. I added some baffeling to the custom made supercharger snout and lost power over the shops origional design. Had the engine changed back to 74MM throttlebody with factory supercharger snout. TTM550 injectors pulled out and replaced with 440 injectors. This may prove to be a successful new mod later on,but at this time,It needs more testing. Sold the now great running engine and transmission. Our best vendors on this forum along with others are now starting with a bare block SL55 mod build,3 liter Weistec blower with V-12 BiTurbo mod transmission build to drop down into my SRT-6. I still feel bad about stopping the progress that was slowly coming around with the 90MM and 85MM mod testing, but decided it was time to go with a CP-Carrillo 55 build. Squirrel Crusher

Talking Re: Aftermarket/bigger throttle bodies

I put two srt TBs on my car for 6 months and the computer will need remapping as it is too much air per degree of opening and it does indeed hickkup. That can be damaging when the engine shuts off for .1 seconds and restarts. Really annoying and I finally decided that since I was not going to play with programming, to go back to one TB. Could help, cost and time not worth.

What about aftermarket?

Lastly, does any one have a stock one for sale or know of a stock one for sale? Im considering running 2 side by side, and now is the time while i have everything apart. I can make it fit, but do you guys think a simple cut and splice of the t/b wires will interfere with the signal or anything funky like that?
,yes I have a stock one for sale Pm me
