Default Variable exhaust valves

Hi chaps

A friend of mine has had a variable exhaust valve fitted to his 2007 vette for about $600 has anyone tried this in a SRT-6 on your side of the pond?

I thought it sounded great, he has a little variable switch in his armrest !

Are you refering to electric cut outs?
Cut outs mearly redirect the exhaust to either open air or tailpipes by bypassing the mufflers via a mechanical or electric gate valve.

Actually forgot to mention cut outs are listed as illegal on US highways and roadways.
