Default TPS voltage???

I am in the process of installing my window switch. I am getting .7V with the car off and when I press the gas it goes to 1.1V at WOT? Is this right? When I turn the car on at idle I am reading .6V?
I don't know if I have a bad connection or if this is just the way it is?
Can anyone offer some help.

Well that isn't right. The solenoids are clicking as soon as I touch the gas. Something isn't right. If anyone knows the proper voltage range let me know thanks.

Well I don't think I'll be spraying any nitrous today. Getting ready to go to the track and I just don't have the time to troubleshoot and properly test the system. My new belt wrap kit that Brandon overnighted me should be here by noon. I'm slapping that on and making the 2 hour drive east to Twin Cities dragway in Monroe Louisiana. Hopefully I can pull some 11's without the nitrous.

we have 2 tps wires, they both run parallel voltage. i was hoping the second one would be the WOT voltage as the pedal passes the kickdown threshhold but that wasnt the case. let me dig up an old zt-2 log and ill be able to show ya the actual voltages....

Good luck at the track. I've checked my logs but the TPS is being recorded in % not voltalge. Idle is 2-7 and WOT is 99.

Wink Re: TPS voltage???

I must have been dozing, what is the question here? Are we trying to get a throttle position switch signal??

If the wot signal is wanted, I would look to the kick down switch on the pedal ==some call it the warp switch.

Any Idea wher that wire runs in the ECU box?
Worse case scenario I'll have to run another wire inside the car.
