Props to the speed demons!
If you haven't noticed,
Reasonably priced cars are getting very, very fast! The 370 Z was clocked at 0-60 in 4.7 seconds and 1.01 on the skid pad, the new Mustang GT was clocked at 0-60 in 4.9 and .9 on the skid pad. Both of these cars are right around 34 grand. Check the recent car rags for the numbers and other ratings.
So, hats off to MDSRT6 and others pushing the limits and keeping the SRT6 competitive!

I'm won last week at trophy night and then last night again at a azsra race. Basically a heads up class no dial in, but each class is within 1 sec. Example 11.99-12.98, 10.99-11.98 etc. I ran the 11.99-12.98 class. I'm sure I could have hit 11's easily last night. My first pass was at 2700' DA and my last was 2300' DA, it's seems as my car is getting faster.

As for MDSRT6, yes, takes less than what some of the speed demons are doing, but still, it is good to see the mods available increasing and members willing to give 'em a try. Waldig is always good for some creativity as well.

I test drove a 370 at a dealership that had their own test-track (Turnersville Auto Mall, NJ). Handling was incredible! Acceleration felt lethargic.
It's interesting how the SRT6 can skew your perception of "fast".
perception of "fast"....there's only one way to know for sure, and that is head to head...SRT's will soon be out done, because auto makers are always improving...but now you can go just as fast for 16-18K....that's the perception to me...spend 30K +, it better go fast...but, these little gems with just a few simple mods, will stay with and perform with, 100K plus cars, for maybe a 25K investment, just my perception...

You wrote .09g's for the mustang, which was obviously a typo. I saw the mustang pull 0.92 in a test, so for anybody interested that's the number it pulls. Not trying to be an ***.. just supplying info.
